We had a truly excellent experience consulting Dr. Shibal Bhartiya. My mother and I visited her for a neuro-ophthalmology consultation, and it was one of the most reassuring medical interactions we’ve had.She spent close to 45 minutes with us, which is rare, and made sure the consultation was never rushed. She took the effort to understand the case in complete detail, including all the nuances.What stood out most was her patience and empathy. I'm undergoing treatment for dry eyes and recently visited Dr shibal in oct 2025 for my annual follow-up. She recommended effective natural remedies like daily warm compresses and including omega-3–rich foods such as walnuts and roasted flax seeds. As my mom is diabetic, we had gone for annual eye check-up which is advisable for Diabetic patients. After evaluation by Dr shibal, it turned out that mom had Macular Hole in one of her eye.

Dr explained the reasons for macular Hole and also informed that 80% of vision in same eye has been lost.

She guided us for macular Hole surgery and did a great counselling for my mother.

After Macular Hole surgery, My mom has regained almost 100% eye vision.

so i had to get * ****** regular retina examination done but the doc made me wait for 1 hr almost and then when i met her she said it a regular process and passed me on another doc and i had to pay the consultation fee twice (2k) and she was complaining to me abt no. Of appointments on the day- she dint have to accept that many if she wasn’t comfortable but why make the patient pay twice?

Dr. Shibal is an extremely competent doctor. She accurately diagnosed my eye issues and provided helpful medication to resolve them. She is very kind and approachable, and she obligingly answered all my questions about my condition.

I am very happy about the waiting time as it was less than 10 minutes. Diagnosis was done very precisely by the doctor and the given treatment was quite accurate for me. Only thing that disappointed me was, for the follow up, I had to travel a very long distance, hence I tried to contact the doctor by phone. But I did not receive proper response from the hospital end or doctor's end. Apart from that, everything was fine and satisfactory.
