LONG REVIEW ALERT:
Attending a toddler, a high-stress job (with hours in front of the laptop), managing everything in the house with minimal support – I never had time to look after my health. So, when 1 day I had a tingling sensation in my left arm, I ignored it. Like I ignored my back pain and stiffness for 4 years since my Caesarian.
While my back pain remained manageable, the tingling sensation in my left arm soon turned to unbearable pain. Consulted an orthopedic, he diagnosed normal cervical issue and gave GABAPIN 100, among other medicines. After 1 week, when the pain aggravated, I consulted a neurologist. He gave GABAPIN NT, NUROKIND, and a pain killer, and immediately suggested MRI and Nerve function test. The tests revealed the following:
• Cervical spondylosis with major disc bulge causing nerve impingement
• Carpal tunnel syndrome
The neurologist immediately told me to start physiotherapy, and specifically said that given the condition, it will be a long-term treatment. Of course, the easier way out was operation, but that was risky.
I contacted couple of physiotherapists. While some of them suggested 10-days treatment, some said they can customize it as I like it. I was not convinced, as in an ideal situation, a doctor should guide the patient, not the other way round.
Then I came across Dr. Geetika’s profile in Practo and contacted her. She assessed me, checked all my reports, and started my treatment for cervical spondylosis with major disc bulge. She advised me to stop my medicines as we progressed along. After few days of treatment, she realized that there is something more than nerve impingement. She observed for a couple of days and diagnosed FROZEN SHOULDER. My hand movement was perfectly fine, but I couldn’t lie down and used to scream in pain. She started therapy for frozen shoulder along with neck, and within 20 sessions, my shoulder pain was gone.
The treatment for cervical spondylosis continued, but the constant pain in left hand remained. It came to a point when I had black out due to pain. She immediately started treatment of carpal tunnel syndrome. Gradually, the pain subsided. It took around 5 months of treatment to recover.
In the meanwhile, she also assessed my back pain and found out I had sacroiliac joint dislocation and scoliosis. The treatment for that, along with exercises continued. Now, after 6 months of treatment, I am completely recovered.
WHAT I REALIZED:
Physiotherapy is a prolonged process and not a miracle. If you want to get rid of the pain, you need to trust the doctor and be regular with your treatment. And Dr. Geetika is one such physiotherapist who can be trusted blindly.
I would surely recommend Dr. Geetika to everyone suffering from pain. She goes above and beyond her capacity to treat patients with care and diligence.

Long Post... but hopefully those who are suffering multiple pains can relate with this.
I tend to have a weird kind of headache from a long time specifically when I get up in the morning or from bed. It seems everything is roaming around.
I was unknown about the reason. I visited to neurologist, they conducted CT scan and other examinations and it was all normal.
I did not know the root cause of that headache.
Sometimes I used to feel that some pain is radiating in my left arms and in bad case I start feeling Heart pain and increased pulpitation.
I visited to cardiologist, again they conducted several tests and again everything was normal.
Situation became bad when I was not even able to move my neck and constant severe Headache.
Then I thought to go with some physio exercise.
I tried searching on Google baba but it didn't work.
I started with Video call sessions with a doctor, they suggested to perform some exercises but that again didn't work.
So I finally decided to visit physiotherapist at person and met with this Doctor.
She listened carefully the issue and examined the physical condition and then come to a conclusion then it is Cervical Spondylitis and so I got to know the root cause.
Cervical Spondylitis is an issue of Neck but it is not limited to Neck only.
It can cause you the pain in your Head, Neck, Shoulder, Pain radiate in Arms and in bad case in Heart also.
In my case, Neck and Shoulder pain were secondary but the primary was Headache.
She explained how it is related to the other parts of body by explaning the anatomy of Spinal Cord which has 33 vertebrae divided into 4 parts.
Starting from the Head the first 7 vertebrae C1 to C7 are the reason of Cervical Spondylitis.
This problem generally can be seen when the C7 extended from its original position from back side which disturbs the entire nervous system connected or going through that area.
She took a little more time but she worked from the root.
Starting with Muscles activation to Final Physcial movement.
She focused more on hand exercises than to machines.
My neck rotation movement increased with proper alignment of extended vertebrae.
And thankfully I was able to get rid of that age old headache.
Thank You.
Suggestion for All: Whether we all do desk job or not but one thing is common in all and that is excess usage of mobile, which leads to incline the neck position unknowingly so keep your posture correct.

Most doctors in my interactions with them have overlooked teenagers and do not value their opinion or problems. They straight jump to the parents and explain everything to them. Even if you try to speak, they do not listen. They act as if you are not even in the room. Therefore, I had never got the right treatment, especially with physiotherapy. Because nobody ever listened. But my journey with medicine changed when I met Dr. Gitika Bansal. I was unsure whether I wanted physiotherapy because it had previously not worked in my favor. So, I was a bit suspicious but, I went in with an open mind. I had suffered a ligament tear because I had fallen. Immediately I went to the hospital and got into a cast for four to five weeks. When it came off only thing they suggested was medication. Physiotherapy had been mentioned. But we got to know from some friends about the wonders it does. So I went in, and the first Dr. Bansal did was explain everything that had happened, then she explained my treatment to me. Everything that would take place and how might it feel and all. All of the information while overwhelming. It was helpful because I knew what would happen. The first day was a bit painful for me. I went back and told Dr. Bansal she said that was normal because my foot had turned to numbness. It was very important to get that feeling back. But with that feeling came pain. After a total of two months, I have got my foot back. Before I went to see her, I could not move out of bed because my foot was swollen, red, and every time I placed it on the ground it, hurt a lot. I could barely take two steps to the loo. But now, as of yesterday, I finished my last session with her and took 6,734 steps the most, I had ever taken since that fall. I had managed to climb thirty steps as well, both up and down. Earlier I could not even stand on both feet now, I can walk, climb do whatever I want at a pace. So, that was my journey. As far as she goes, she is a good doctor, all you need to have is a little patience. But you will be okay. You need to follow what she does, even if it may seem a little odd or scary at first, it all makes sense in the end. All the best!

I visited Dr. Gitika after suffering for almost 4 years from shoulder pain. The pain used to be so excruciating that I couldn't write ( hold pen/ pencil) for more than 5 mins at a stretch, household chores were coming burdensome, chopping vegetables ( just one onion for that matter) had become a daunting task. Time for things which I once loved and enjoyed like painting and sketching, had shrunk to zero. I would work out and go on clean diet and yet would not manage to lose an inch. I would wake up in the morning as though I had no hands and there would be a constant burning and tingling sensation in my fingers.
The day Dr. Gitika took my assessment she asked me, " how have you been taking this pain for so long ?" And I had no answer because I was just so used to this perpetual pain and recurring spasms in my upper back muscles. She told me that the three nerves originating from my spine to my fingers were compressed because of a disc bulge in my spine (the neck area), swelling had spread from my neck to my arms and also till my lower back and because of this swelling my face too would look plump (which is why I couldn't lose weight). She promised me that once the physiotherapy starts all these issues would start to subside. And true to her promise the swelling reduced drastically within a week and with a months therapy the nerves healed completely, the disc which had a bulge went in place. The big hump behind the neck wasn't visible anymore.
Let me tell you she's not just a doctor. She's more than that. She patiently listens, understands and responds. She explains the issues in detail (without bombarding the medical terms) to help one understand in layman language.
Words would fall short if I start to thank her. She's brought me out of a constant pain which I was in for almost 4 years. Thank you Doctor.
