Consulted Dr. Chetan Vispute (Addiction Psychiatrist)
I do not recommend the doctor
He was impatient in properly listening to me. Most of the time he was distracted by people coming from outside and phone calls. He is not a good listener and wanted to wrap up my session as quick as possible although I had a booked appointment, I was looking for atleast 30 mins from him but some other client also had attended his clinic with their family and he took more importance in them rather giving a proper quality time to my issue.
I even asked him to give positive oral suggestions to deal with the issue but rather he was engaged in wrapping me up quickly and handing me a couple of medicines stating that it will help me in getting back my mental balance .
But thanks to his medicines I was able to search them in google and find out that they were all antidepressants and med to bring back mental stability. this made me realise that I was loosing my mental balance and I was suffering from Bipolar disorder. I have taken good care of myself and hopefully I will continue without any medication. I just wanted some positive words from him, some quality time with him encouraging and providing me a positive outlook towards life but he could not give it properly.
Anyways he might have some satisfied clients with him, but actually I wasnt satisfied bythis.

I do understand your concern. But sometimes if clients with severe psychological problems have to attended first inspire of later appointments to avoid self harm or assaultive behaviour. Medications were prescribed to control the symptoms as they were causing significant distress to you. Counselling sessions follow on subsequent appointments wen the symptoms are under control. Medicines and counselling wen given together give the best results.
