I was misdiagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes Melitus based on my age. Was treated with Insulin for 1-1.5 years. I consulted Dr. Rakesh Parikh and after seeing my c Peptide results, family history, he advised to change my treatment a tad bit. The treatment showed great improvement immediately after starting. After seeing my Sugar Chart and my improved readings, I was dropped off Insulin conpletely. I advice all the youngsters of my age group 16-25 to atleast talk to the doctor about a C peptide test which differentiates Type 1 from type 2.
The response was prompt. Understood the concern very well and not loaded me with tablets. Minor friendly alterations to existing prescription and it was all done. Appreciate the response time. Thanks.
Very good and patience and happy to be treated , good response and understanding . **** **** ****** * ******
