sir you really helped me a lot in my depression.i was your patient for 5 years and youngave me lithium for 3 years.i wanted to stop it because it made me so numb all the time,i couldnt feel happiness or sadness just neutral,but i think lithium is a lifelong medicine so you didnt stopped it.

But i am now really happy to tell you although it was a mistake me but i lowered the medicine every 1 month for 4 motnths till it came down from 900mg per day to 100mg per day and then i stopped it completely.Now i dont have any sad thoughts or numb feeling and i am medicine free.
