Dr. Sathya Ranna (PhD)

Dr. Sathya Ranna, PhD, is a leader in private hearing aid dispensing, which also includes rehabilitation services in India, and she is the Founder Director of Shreya Hearing Clinic. In 1997, she started with a single unit in Indiranagar, Bangalore, and since then has grown Shreya into a multi-city network of 18+ clinics across Karnataka and Telangana, known for advanced diagnostics and personalized hearing care. Also a gold medalist in both her graduate and postgraduate studies, Dr. Sathya Ranna, PhD, was a UGC scholar under the University of Mysore before going on to earn her PhD from the All India Institute of Speech and Hearing (AIISH), which is one of India’s preeminent institutions in speech and hearing sciences.As a clinician and entrepreneur has been recognized by the Siemens Annual Excellence Award and the Best Entrepreneur in Audiology award from the Indian Speech and Hearing Association (ISHA). Also, she has published in medical journals and presented research at national-level audiology conferences. In addition, in the public domain, Dr. Sathya Ranna, PhD, is a known voice on hearing health issues, including her writing for newspapers and magazines and appearing on TV programs ETV, Vanithe, Kasthuri, and Sthreeloka, all of which she does to spread the word on early identification of hearing loss and the latest in hearing aid technology.
