My name is Vilas Vardhan Das I am serving in ISKCON Pune as a monk. Before joining as a monk, I was a teacher everything was going well for many years when I was using my voice profusely loudly for long time then suddenly I started facing struggle to speak comfortably then I started using a mike to speak so that I can speak slowly and students can understand me. Then later when I joined as a full time monk now as a teacher and preacher of Bhakti Shastras my most engagement was through my speech. But again I was struggling to even do our daily spiritual practice to chant Hare Krishna maha mantra * ***** ** *** *** **** *** **** ****** ** *** **** **** *** ********* * ******** *** **** *** ** **** ******** **** ****** **** ***** * even chanting for 30 mins comfortably also was becoming tough. Even

when I spoke on phone people couldn't understand what I was saying.

One of the main reason I had dedicated my life from a Chemistry proffessor to be a monk was to teach people what I felt was much more valuable in life the eternal reality apart from changong phenomenons of matter as we study our theory books. But my throat was a big impediment to serve.

I started consulting ENTs so some gave medicine most others told therapy. So I started taking therapies which helped me that time to some degree but when I resumed by service after some year it again resumed. Then I thought I need to learn to live with it.

But later HG Radheshyam prabhuji our temple president and my guide told me again and again to go and consult Dr Balla , who had cured him also, but I was not so comfortable seeing the time and money it will take again and I needed to travel across states.

But the problem was persistent so one of the days somehow I happen to be in Hyderabad so I decided to just see Dr Balla once and told whole of my story and he told to come and assured that I can be recovered . But he told I need to be there continuously for atleast 6 months. This was puzzling for me as I had my all services and spiritual family in pune but after consulting with everyone I started coming here for 20 days in a month another 10 days I was in pune, in this way I kept coming trying to follow Dr Balla's instructions along with balancing my services in Pune.

And gradually lot of change came in my vocals , I started feeling very very comfortable and my raised very much then before, many friends acknowledged saying you sound much better now. Not just I felt comfortable people also felt comfortable to understand what I am saying hence voice clarity increased. Now I am able to chant the names of lord for almost 3-4 hours comfortably,sing comfortably and convey on phone clearly, deliver classes for 2-3 hours easily.

Dr Balla is genuine person *** ***** *** **** and surely he can help most difficult cases provided patients co-operate with him by being patient ,many times I was quite impatient but by his assurance I continued for almost 1.5 years by now and gradually sustainable results came.

Myself Mounika is writing a review on Dr. Premanath Balla and about his treatment.

In US the doctor said that my son is suspected with autism disorder and speech delay at the age of 18 Months in hospital visit. We didn't get an appointment for evaluation about a year.We don't even know the term "Autism" by the time they said My husband googled it and came to know that's a serious issue and should not be delayed. So we came to India and firstly visited one corporate hospital, the neurologist suggested 2-3 CDC's names to get therapy , gave one syrup and I don't know how this boosts up.Another doctor referred to take different set of therapies for a 20 months old.Later, one of the parents in my brother's apartment referred to Premnath sir where he treats the holistic treatment at Phonics. We directly joined Phonics when he was 20 Months old on the day of consultation, he said didn't have autism, next he intervened into and said it was Attention disorder. My son has been taking treatment for the past 9 months regularly with Premnath sir where he regressed with speech and eye contact. He was a happy baby, and didn't even know the emotions and relationships.

Fortunately we got the perfect person like Premnath sir at the correct age.

After passing some days of treatment, he said you don't worry he will get cured. The confidence in his words gave us a lot of strength.He resolved many behavioral problems.

Week by week I can see changes in him that eye contact is improved and responding to his name in 2 weeks, finger pointing, focusing. My son Started speaking two letter words in two months. Everyday I see at least minimal changes in him.Understanding is improved and follows the instructions.

My heartful thanks to sir, who gave his 100 Percent efforts and the purpose that brought us here is fulfilled. He deserves to his role and most dedicated, holistic person. I never saw such a person who is managing everything having a lot of patience in doing treatment and I'm sure that nobody can give treatment like him.

I would like to say one thing to each and every parent, they should check their child milestones. If it's not been met please take him to the doctor. Delay in treatment will be going to ruin yourself and the children's life too. The age is very precious and never comes back. If you find any developmental problem at the earlier stage, the recovery time will also be less.We are blessed that we found a problem in my son at the earliest and are going to be passed out. In the initial stage we were depressed a lot by seeing him in such a condition and now not even remembering those situations. I'm confident enough after getting treatment here. If you find any difficulties in your children, here is a person I can refer to Dr.Premnath sir . He will treat everything here in the Phonics rehabilitation centre. I wish premnath sir should have great health and continue his practice for many Years.

Hare Krishna. I am Samarth Krishna Das, a celibate Monk at ISKCON (International Society for Krishna Consciousness) Hyderabad. Being a Monk, teaching and singing devotional songs is a part of my everyday life. Due to which I kind of lost my vocal strength and clarity over a period of time due to muscle tension dysphonia.

Back in 2016 I was transferred to Mumbai branch of ISKCON. I fixed an appointment at the Dhiru bhai Ambani hospital with an ENT specialist. He gave few medicines and told me to fix appointment with the voice therapist. I pursed the voice therapy at Mumbai almost for 4-5 months. But it was not satisfying as per my expectation and was very costly as well.

Then just prior to the beginning of Covid, I contacted one of the best voice surgeons in India. But when I researched a bit about the surgery I realized that there is no sure shot results guaranteed and again the expenditure and recovery time will be very high.

However, I never imagined that what I was looking for, I will find in Hyderabad. I have been visiting Hyderabad since the early days of posting at Mumbai. I had started a training center for young professionals here at Hyderabad at Gachibowli for which I used to visit every month. But as my programs were increasing, I was unable to cope up the demand with the available capacity of my vocal faculty. So, one day one of my senior mentors asked me to search out a good Doctor in Hyderabad.

When I searched on Google, the very first option available was of Dr Premnath Balla. I scrolled the list down and studied the experience, and reviews of many other doctors as well, but none was matching the experience and the reviews given for Dr Premnath Balla. Hence I fixed an appointment with Dr Balla through Practo.

During the first meeting Dr Balla could detect my problem simply by hearing my sound. I was impressed by his presentation and his modus operandi in treating vocal problems. It was something extraordinary and a very new phenomenon for me which I never experienced with many other doctors I contacted before. Within 10 days I could see a drastic change in my voice. I was experiencing relief from vocal fatigue, more intensity, lack of breaks etc. So, I thought this is amazing. Hence, I started developing faith on his treatment.

Now almost after 1 year of treatment, I found a miraculous improvement in my voice. Although according to Dr Ball, I have recovered only 60% till now, but in this 60% recovery also, I find a great amount of intensity in voice. The Airiness in the voice has reduced drastically. There is tremendous improvement in the easiness in producing sound, breaks have gone down etc. Some of my friends and well wishers are also surprised on seeing this improvement.

Currently Dr Ball is working on increasing my vocal stamina and breath capacity while singing. I am very confident that just like I have improved so far from my vocal issues, these pending issues will also be resolved in due course of time.

Dr Balla becomes like a family member for his patients and treats them with the utmost sincerity of his heart. I have seen him skipping his lunch many times to see his patients. Dr Ball is also planning to start a NGO by the name – ‘Phonics Helping Hands’ by which he wants to help out the poor and needy people who suffer from hearing loss and other neurological issues. Hence his heart is for serving the humanity selflessly.

In a world where every word counts and people judge you based on how and what you speak, finding a doctor who is genuine and skilled is truly a rarity. Dr. Premnath Balla is one of those exceptional individuals.

Family and relatives used to say that I speak very fast and they can't hear me. These kinds of statements used to affect me psychologically and reduce my confidence. So, since childhood, I was never used to talking much, and I have become somewhat of an introvert.

When I first talked to Dr. Balla about my low voice and speech problems, he explained simply what was causing them. He also made me feel confident about how we would fix them together. In the initial days of treatment, I was a bit unsure about Dr. Premnath Sir's approach, especially since many YouTube videos suggested speech practices for similar issues. Most of the doctors won't take it in a right way when we question their treatment and capabilities, but I decided to share my doubts with him. To my surprise, he patiently took extra time to explain to me what a Laryngeal Spasm is, how it affects speech and voice, and its potential side effects.

During this time, I also had the opportunity to meet some of his other patients ( especially specialist Doctors like Radiologists Physicians etc )who all spoke positively about the treatment they were receiving and the results they were seeing. Hearing their experiences significantly boosted my confidence in Dr. Premnath Sir's approach. Within a few days, I noticed one positive change: I woke up without any neck pain, and my neck became much more flexible. Additionally, my sleep pattern improved. As the days passed, Dr. Premnath Sir's treatment sometimes caused me pain, but I reassured myself that it was for my better future. As the days passed, I could definitely see a change in my voice and speech. While the speed hasn't completely reduced, but there's certainly a significant improvement in both my voice and speech.

I no longer hesitate to speak, and even if my speech becomes fast at times, I am more aware and able to control it. After few more sessions, I am confident that there will be even more improvement. Initially I thought this clinic sees adult patients but surprisingly have seen lots of small kids with Neuro problems like Autism & speech delays & behavior problems & learning problems getting treatment from Dr Premnath sir & All the parents are very happy with the progress they are seeing that patients are coming from all over the world which really inspired me a lot.

We have a 6 yr old child on the spectrum and like many parents, we explored multiple therapy options over the last 3 years. We went to different therapists in various cities, tried 3-4 therapies at a time — speech, OT, ABA, etc. Each therapist claimed that we’ll see significant improvement in 4–6 months. But even after 1 to 1.5 years, the changes were minimal and fragmented. Worse, the forced learning environment made our child more irritable and stubborn. Some behaviors like hitting and biting even worsened. I have a very unusual disorder of speaking problem related to breath wherein I am unable to get support of breath while speaking, leading to breathlessness, shaky voice, voice breaks and tremors in certain parts of the body particularly during social gatherings and speaking to strangers.
