She has over a decade of experience in the field of psychology. She has a private practice where she sees clients in individuals and families. She is also the founder of pause for perspective, the company that houses her practice as well as runs workshops in mindfulness for individuals, corporate and institutions. Aarathi specializes in mindfulness informed therapy, mindfulness-based therapies, intuitive eating counselling, cognitive behavior therapy, trauma therapy, marriage and family therapy, and art therapy. She works with clients with stress arising from challenging life events related to family responsibilities, relationships, work, depression, anxiety, loss, chronic pain, chronic illness and life-limiting diseases.
