Dr. Tulika Tayal

I would like to share my experience with Dr Tulika tayal ma'am (rainbow hospital Banjara hills). She is the most coolest doc I have ever seen, always greeting with a smile,she answers and explains everything in detail very patiently. I went to her for pre pregnancy counseling as I had I had a high risk pregnancy,from the beginning she supported me , guided me and most importantly she gave me all the moral support which I needed the most, be it through msg or calls she was always there for me. I can't put in words and can go on and on about her.("Thank you) will be a very small word to use for her, she is not only a very good doc but also a very good human being. Today I owe my baby only because of Tulika

Dr. Tulika Tayal is a great doctor who specializes in fetal medicine who believes in conservative management of ectopic pregnancies including the most complex forms like the CSP. While these methods are time taking, wherever possible, are the best approach to take as it follows the nature. Dr Tulika here excels by first dispelling all her patients fears, then explaining why this approach is better thus preparing for the time this takes, which she did to me when I was diagnosed with CSP. Her followup next makes the time spent in this treatment bearable and with hope. That said, She never adamantly gets away from possibility of other methods including surgical approaches, She constantly stays in touch with other faculties to evaluate the best approach only seeking other methods as last resort. A doctor who invests in learning should be your best bet and that's Tulika who stays a ahead as well as makes you comfortable that always is needed in time taking conservative management. I would 100% recommended Dr Tulika to anyone needing in fetal medicine area without inkling second thoughts.

We were initially conceived with DCDA twins.

At 14-16 weeks window, from NT scan and early TIFFA scan reports, one of the fetus

(A) was identified with an absent femur bone in right leg which is concluded as birth defect.

Fetus (B) was completely normal.

It was tough time for us, having searched for a solution in twin cities, the unianomous decision/options from doctor's fraternity was to a) Terminate both b) Live with a crippled baby along with a good baby.

Also, option b) was least suggested by doctors because the problem for fetus A can't be repaired and will create a pshycological difference between twin babies when they grow up together.

We were devasted and couldnt take any decision almost surrendered ourselves to fate. That was the time we met Dr. Tulika Tayal. I still remember my first discussion with her, which gave a breathe of life for our entire family.

She was the only person in twin cities, who gave an alternate option to reduce fetus A using advanced fetal medicine technique. Finally, we have gone ahead with fetal reduction and terminated fetus A at 19 weeks which could be risky going forward for the survival of the other baby.

She took it as a challenge more than her profession. We were under tremendous monitoring and guidance through out our pregnancy by Dr. Tulika which gave us very good moral support and assurance.

We just delivered a beautiful baby boy at 37 weeks. My fighter son survived all the hiccups and we are with happy tears today!!

I would strongly recommend Doctor Tulika and Fetal medicine Facilities at Rainbow.If not because of her excellence in profession and advancement in technology, our family would have been in deep sorrow for our remaining lives.

After the delivery, i happend to see the second baby and the baby has deformed leg. We are very glad that we reached right place with efficient doctor.

I owe my third healthy pregnancy completely to Dr Tulika . My first child is already suffering from Hemophilia . I have undergone extreme pain with the suffering of my first child and did not have courage to face same situation again .

I was referred to Dr Tulika by gynaecologist during my second pregnancy to check if second child has same problem or not . She explained us everything and did amniocentesis. Unfortunately that pregnancy was affected with Hemophilia and I decided to terminate the pregnancy. I lost my whole world . She gave me lot of counselling and emotional support .

I got pregnant again . I again visited her and the moment I got to know that there is 50 percent chance that my baby will be affected , I decided to go for termination without amniocentesis. She counselled me so much and gave positive hope and prepared me mentally for Amniocentesis and prevented me from taking such drastic step . Finally I took the test . By Gods grace this time , baby was found to be normal and I continued the pregnancy and delivered a normal baby . I completely owe this baby to her . She is a reason for our lifelong happiness . May God bless her . It’s hard to meet such committed doctors these days.

Even though she seems to be highly educated and reputed specialist in her field of expertise, she was very un profesional.

I am obese and the way she treated me during scanning procedure was terrible.

Doctors can always say a patient is unhealthy but they cannot treat them like they are inferior human beings.

My husband is thinner than me . She commented on that and said he looks way too young to be my husband and I am way too fat for him. She used this exact word "FAT". Not in a medical context but for comparing our physique. It's too hurtful and in 3 years for our married life and 5 years of courtship no one said that to my face. Not even people in our village. She said those words to a hormonal pregnant person.

I don't know what she wanted me to do. I guess I need to terminate my healthy pregnancy because it took her more time to get good images of my baby. during Anomaly scan (which was supposed to take 45 minutes and which she completed in 15 minutes).

Her comments made a pregnant me to resolve into tears as soon as I left the room.

May be I should have been a north indian to be considered an equal person for her. I am saying that because she kept talking in Hindi even after I answers her questions in english .Even after My husband has to translate her to me . Didn't speak loudly enough too.

In our culture we respect our doctors and honestly I don't want to consider my scanning as a paid service but I was treated like garbage after paying 3000 bucks for this procedure.

I went to corporate hospital with the expectation of getting polite treatment. I was not there as charity.

She could have refused me as soon as I entered room but she went ahead with such a condescending tone that made me question my self worth.

Initaially i read reviews about her in other websites and was elated that she will be performing my scan that day.

I am not questioning her medical abilities.

I want to share my experience with unsuspecting fat pregnant person wandering into her room.

Dr. Tulika is very professional and performed my scans regularly and assured me that everything will be fine. I was very much comfortable with her treatment and she listens to ur problem patiently and suggests accordingly. I strongly recommend Dr. Tulika for preginacy scans. I am blessed with a baby boy few days ago and thanks Tulika mam for ur service.

Doctor has been very positive in explaining the issues at all my scans in spite of a high risk involved in this pregnancy. The Dr made a right decision to deliver baby sooner and that has helped the baby to avoid dealing with major issues post birth. Appreciate the Drs timing in deciding delivery and also her vigilant monitoring at all my scans to assess the risk regularly and decide the safest outcome for the baby's health. I would highly recommend Dr Tulika Tayal for high risk pregnancy care.

I pray God to bless earth with doctors like Dr. Tulika, Dr. Radha Rama Devi and Dr. Pratyusha... When I lost all hope on giving birth to normal baby as I got married to maternal uncle...but as a ray of hope which was raised ine by the doctors blessed with baby 👧 and she is normal... Every visit of mine to hospital was learning about my baby and even closer to my delivery... I will say rainbow hospital is blessed with these doctors

The kind of clarity and explanation Dr. Tulika gave was fantastic. She took time to understand our situation and problem. She gave us a detailed explanation with points, diagrams, pros and cons of getting a very expensive test done. She also clearly explained the accuracy of the test. This kind of genuine interest in a patient and complete honesty is very rarely seen in doctors. We highly recommend pregnant or new mothers to go to her for any concern.

Got some complications in the early stage of pregnancy, I was so scared and worried before my first fetal checkup but Dr. Tulika's friendly behaviour and upmost care helped me cope through it.. and from then onwards I booked tickets to Hyderabad from my hometown according to her dates when she is available, this is how much I trust and adore her.

Especially went to meet her after delivery to thank her and show her my baby girl "Aisha".
