Dr. Sudha Sinha

Dr. Sudha Sinha is a triple US board-certified Medical Oncologist and Hematologist with over 20 years of experience in cancer care. She trained at Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston, and holds board certifications from the American Board of Oncology, American Board of Hematology, and American Board of Internal Medicine.What sets Dr. Sudha apart is the breadth of her experience. She has treated cancer patients across three very different settings — in the United States during her training at Tufts, in government service for 10 years as Head of Medical Oncology at MNJ Institute of Oncology (Hyderabad's premier public cancer centre), and now in corporate healthcare at Yashoda Hospitals. This means she understands cancer care from every angle — and every patient, regardless of their background, feels understood.Her special interests include womens cancers (Breast, Cervix, Ovary, Endometrium), and curable cancers including leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.Dr. Sudha served for 10 years as Head of Medical Oncology at MNJ Institute of Oncology, Hyderabad's premier government cancer centre, where she established the largest pediatric oncology program in South India. She is the founder of IMPACT, a free cancer centre for children who cannot afford treatment (impactchild.org).She is currently Clinical Director, Medical Oncology at Yashoda Hospitals, Hyderabad.Dr. Sudha has published over 30 papers in international medical journals and has been recognised by FICCI, Civil Society, and Rotary for her work in cancer care.She is known for combining world-class clinical expertise with deep empathy — because she believes that how a doctor makes a patient feel is as important as the treatment they provide.
