Dr. J Sridhar

Dr. Sridhar Jakkepally is a well trained and experienced spine surgeon who worked in various institutions across the world. He was trained in one of the most reputed institutions in the world, The Ganga hospital, Coimbatore. He also had international fellowships in spine surgery in France and Japan. He worked under the mentorship of Prof. S. Rajasekaran, Dr. Ajoy Prasad Shetty and Dr. V.Surya Prakash Rao. He was also associated with Prof. Jean Mark Vital at Groupe Hospitalier Pellegrin – CHU de Bordeaux and Prof. Yukihiro Matsuyama at Hamamatsu University School of Medicine, Japan.He had wide experience in treating the various spinal ailments like Lumbar disc prolapse and Lumbar canal stenosis, infections of the spine like TB and nontuberculous etiology, and the deformities like scoliosis and the kyphosis, neoplastic conditions (Tumors) of the spine, and the spinal fracture with paraplegia and quadriplegia. He is also experienced in minimally invasive spine surgeries and the other nonsurgical modalities like selective nerve root block and caudal epidural steroid injections.Dr. Sridhar has also participated in various research and academic activities and presented his research papers in various national and international conferences. He also published his research work in various national and international journals. Dr. Sridhar had his undergraduate (MBBS) and postgraduate (MS-Ortho) medical education from Gandhi Medical College, Secunderabad, Telangana. He also acquired DNB-Orthopaedics degree from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. While his main interest remains minimally invasive spine and deformity correction, he also performs all the other major spinal procedures. He also keeps himself ahead in updating and acquiring all the available techniques that are used in spine surgeries.
