Dr. B.S.V. Raju

Dr B.S.V. Raju is one of few spine surgeons in the country with both orthopaedic and neurosurgicaltraining with about three decades of experience in spine surgery. He is the only spine surgeon with overtwo years of clinical spine fellowship in USA in our state. He worked as faculty in Neurosurgery, Nizam`sInstitute of Medical Sciences from July 1996 to June, 2001. He worked as Consultant neurosurgeon andspine surgeon in Yasodha Hospitals, Somajiguda, Hyderabad from July 2003 to October 2007. He ispresently working as Consultant Neurosurgeon and spine surgeon in Aster Prime Hospitals, Hyderabadfrom October 2007 till date.He has the privilege of working under Prof Setty Rangachary, one of the world renowned neurosurgeons inthe world. His training in Stanford University under Prof Daniel Kim has given him great exposure tominimally invasive surgeries, endoscopic spine surgery, thoracoscopic surgery and peripheral nerve surgeryapart from biomechanical studies on spine and animal studies on spinal conditions.
