ACRO is an organisation that mainly deals with issues related to Mental Health & Emotional Well Being. We cater to a variety of clients from all backgrounds and age groups. We at ACRO wish to see our clients live a balanced and stress free life. Our consultation can be done on a one-to-one basis or online, by prior appointment only.Visiting a therapist or attending a session is not a shameful act by any means; everybody wants to be heard, they wish to voice their frustrations and troubles out to someone or the other at some point in their lives. Friends, family, colleagues, people we know are not always going to be around to hear you out. A Psychologist plays a major role in administering people's problems, guiding them in the right direction and giving them the sense of hope to live happily. Individual Counselling/Tele-Counselling/Online Counselling/Group Counselling sessions are done depending upon the requirements of the clients. We're have a panel of Psychiatrists/ Clinical Psychologists/ Counselling Psychologists/ Counsellors/Activists/Interns working day and night at ACRO. Trained Nationally & Internationally, having vast experience in their field of expertise, highly qualified and very passionate about helping people live their lives, in a better way. Our specialities are Music Therapy, Animal Assisted Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Art Therapy, Dance Therapy, Wilderness Therapy & Travel Therapy. When it comes to family matters- be it Pre-Marital issues, Marital problems like Separation, Divorce, Step-families/Blended Families, events that lead to criminal convictions in arguments/fights between couples, families, customised sessions are designed for the clients. We see an array of individuals trying to cope with their Sexuality, Education, Career, Relationships, Friendships, Jobs, Businesses, Family problems, Abuse etc... ACRO Team does not discriminate living beings, and we are an animal friendly/LGBTQ community friendly organisation. Animals of clients are welcome to drop by at the clinic for sessions while their masters are being heard by our team. Animal Centric Therapy or Animal Assisted Therapy is given to special cases. We deal with animals facing Depression, Grief, Separation, Anxiety, Laziness, and lack of will power to live everyday. Our therapeutic approaches designed to help animals have been very successful with previous clients. A special session is also conducted for the masters of the animals to help them cope with every day issues and understand their animals. Clients coming in for sessions must keep this in mind that if their sessions exceed the 30 minutes slot for Counselling or Consultation, they will be charged by the hour. A fee schedule is given to them before the session starts and they are given time to read through the Consent Form as well. OTHER SERVICES: Ms. Aishwarya Krishna Priya is a trained and experienced Tarot Card Reader for the last 15 years of her life. She has been helping clients with issues like career, education relationships, friendships & family. Those willing to take sessions or learn the Game of Zen can directly approach her. INTERNSHIP PROGRAMME: Students/Working professionals/Enthusiasts wishing to learn, be trained in the field of Psychology and it's subfields can apply. Contact details are available on all social media platforms of ACRO. Due to privacy concerns we're unable to share them on Practo. COACHING CLASSES: Students with Psychology as a subject in IBDP, A Levels, ICSE, BA, BSc, MA, MSc Psychology, Diploma Programmes are welcome to join our regular classes for examination purposes. PSYCHOMETRIC TESTING: is available for those who wish to get themselves tested or have any requirements from companies/hospitals the clients work for or with. NOTE: 1) DISCOUNTS are available for students who provide a valid ID proof of their schools/colleges. Individuals approaching for any Counselling/Therapy session below the age of 18 years, must bring a parent or local guardian along with them for sessions and also carry their ID proofs.. Friends/family of the same age group will not be counted as guardians while they accompany individuals or minors. 2) Clients with legal matters approaching us, will need to give us written proof of their convictions, court orders, a letter from their legal team, and the reason for seeking our guidance/ counselling/therapy by email or post. 3) A strict policy for human children is maintained at the clinic, they are not allowed to make any noise, need a parent or guardian to take care of them while sessions with their family members take place. Children are ONLY allowed to be in the waiting area or garden area if there are more than 2 members of the family present during session. This is because children tend to have Episodic memories crystal clear from the age of 5 and can remember tonality of their parents voices fluctuate which in turn hampers their Mental Health while growing up.
