Dr. Jyoti Kapoor

Dr. Jyoti Kapoor Madan obtained training in the field of psychiatry from the esteemed "Dr. Vidya Sagar Department of Psychiatry, PGIMS, Rohtak" and also worked as Senior Resident in the same facility till December 2008. She worked as a consultant at Asha Institute of Medical Psychology and Counseling for 2 years where she also worked as a researcher and psychotherapist before returning to Gurgaon in 2011. She has 14 years of experience in evaluation and management of all psychiatric disorders and is currently working as consultant Psychiatrist at Paras Hospital, Gurgaon. She uses a holistic bio-psycho-social approach to explore psychological issues for a thorough understanding of individual’s emotional and psychosocial state and formulates a management plan accordingly. Using her extensive experience in general medico-surgical conditions, she uses an integrated approach necessary in consultation- liaison psychiatry to manage psychiatric conditions appearing due to neurosurgical and medical conditions. She is also involved in various educative and awareness programs at local and corporate level to spread information regarding psychological and mental issues that are prevalent in society today.
