Dr. Jyoti Kapoor Madan obtained training in the field of psychiatry from the esteemed "Dr. Vidya Sagar Department of Psychiatry, PGIMS, Rohtak" and also worked as Senior Resident in the same facility till December 2008. She worked as a consultant at Asha Institute of Medical Psychology and Counseling for 2 years where she also worked as a researcher and psychotherapist before returning to Gurgaon in 2011. She enquired in details about my problems and spoke to my spouse as well. She diagnosed the problem and gave me medication which I am following now and have got results in a few days . In my follow up visit she again enquired me in details about my improvements, if any and made alteration to the medication accordingly. * **** *** **** ******** **** *** ********* ** *** *********** She is also someone who sees things holistically which is quite rare these days. She also comes across to be very confident and at the same time humble and friendly with her patients. I would definitely recommend her to as many possible in my known circle.

I had visited several doctors previously but were of no help. She started my treatment 5 years back , it took some time to be in control of my body that too i took several breaks in visiting her. She has listened to my problems every time and guided me well.it was during one of my appointments, she asked me if she could attend the other patient whose appointment was after me since his family members were very impatient. Dr Jyoti is a super doc, i had lost hope of being cured but her handling of my problem and treatment has helped me get out of the worst period of my life. She has been there to listen and resolve all my issues- always with a positive attitude. I can't thank her enough, she has been a life saver for me.

We were expecting some concrete advice from the doctor for the future of patient but the doctor spent 15 minutes in describing the past which we anyways knew. Doctor was in hurry to wind up the discussion in allotted time of 15 minutes and charged us Rs. 1200/- .

She is not available over phone in case of emergency. Psychiatric patients often do something which might require doctor’s input but we couldn’t reach her over the phone in spite of trying couple of days. She is only available with an appointment. Not satisfied with her availability in emergency conditions.
Her prescription of 1500/- is not even valid for 3 days. Had to pay 1000/- again when visited third day. Didn’t get any receipt second time.
