Dr. Poonam Poonia (PhD)

I visited Dr Poonam for my father ,a 58 years old person. He had psychometric disorder for many years. It took us years and consulted few other doctors as well but it was of no use until I visited Dr. Poonam. In just 2 sessions results were clearly visible. My father only took 4 sessions and he is much more stable now and able to handle stress himself.Moreover on few occasions I discussed with her over phone as well and she was always ready to help. Looking at my father's age and condition I had expected few months of treatment for him but in just 2 months it was all good.*** ** **** ** *** **** . I can't thank her enough.

Once I took the appointment I was asked to wait for 23 days but my issues were so serious that I called the doctor and she out of courtesy took me immediately and attented to me which I thought was the most important gesture. Then when I met her she addressed my issues and was extremely helpful wkth her words and the things she asked me to do really really made things better for me and my family. I would really really recommend her for any problems.

She is polite / amaizng at her analogy and bang on with her advices.

I had lot of issues during college time, i.e., courses were really stressful and I used to face burnouts more frequently than before. But when I visited Dr. Poonam she listened to me very emphatically and completely understood the issues that I was facing. After 3-4 sessions over the course of 2-3 weeks, we discussed on where I was going wrong and what we can do to handle stress, manage time better, etc. She also identified the root cause from which the above-mentioned issues had sprouted and once I started working on that, things started becoming much better thereafter.

Not only that, I was also preparing for placements during that time and she used to follow-up with me atleast 2-3 times a month to check on how was my preparation going, whether there any blockers or if I am facing any kind of stress. She was always willing to take out time for sessions if I was stressed at any point of time during those days.

I am extremely grateful for the support that she has provided to me for over 1 year at college. Thank you very much!

I had consulted her in Dec'19. Though I got a bit late but it would be unfair I do not share my experience. The very first experience was super amazing. What took me days to overcome, she helped me just in an hour. I started doing great after that. She had literally boosted my confidence. She is really good. I have eventually come out of all the trauma but all thanks to her. I cannot thank her enough.

I liked her, the way she listens and give time to understand you and your problem. I know it is difficult to follow things what doctor tells u to do at one go. But over all i feel relived. She actually showed me the root cause of problem which is very true.

She is a total angelic figure. I felt amazing, light and happy after visiting her. She understands the other person so well. She makes you feel warm and loved. With her its a no judgement zone. Its was all together an amazing experience. I have got mentor for life.

She listened to all my thoughts and concerns and provided meaningful suggestions on what concerns were genuine and what were not. She also gave great advice on lifestyle changes - books, fitness, spirituality. I could count on her for being approachable and accommodate appointments at quick intervals in times I needed them. She was instrumental in ensuring I have emotional strength and do not dive into negative thoughts. I will always be grateful to her for what I am today. Thanks

I had been to 3 other psychologists before visiting Dr. Poonam. Dr. Poonam is extremely friendly and she understands every single problem. She has guided me a lot in life. Because of her,I overcame my fears. I strongly recommend everyone to visit her.

She listened to what I had to say patiently *** *** *** **** ******** ** *** **** * ******** ***** ** ***** *** **** ** ****** **** *** *** *** ******* *** **** *********** ************** ****** You expect a therapist to help and guide you as to how you can reduce your stress levels and get out of depression. Work with you using some tools or techniques to achieve your goal. But all she had to say was be strong and stay positive. I’m utterly disappointed with the therapy session.
