Dr. Savita Chopra, a radiologist and alumnus of Armed Forces Medical College, Class of 1973, served for 15 years in the Indian Navy before establishing her own diagnosticpractice in Gurgaon. A strong advocate for women’s health, she helped set up and headed the Department of Radiology at W Hospital by Pratiksha, Gurgaon—the first women-centrichospital in NCR. Presently she is one of the most senior radiologists practicing in Gurgaon. Chopra Diagnostic Centre , An establishment owned by her is very well respected for all procedures. Her expertise in the field of infertility, pregnancy and breast ultrasound is well recognised. A special mention needs to be made of the reputation enjoyed by the centre in HSG, a procedure to study the fallopian tube patency, Fetal echocardiography & 3 D transvaginal study.Currently President-Elect of Rotary Club Gurgaon and District Chairperson for Breast Cancer Awareness & Prevention, RID 3011. She has reported over 25,000 mammogramsunder Rotary’s breast cancer detection program. She is also actively promoting cervical cancer awareness and vaccination, and has been recognized by the Rotary CancerFoundation and Rotary District 3011 for her proactive work in the field of women’s health and prevention.
