Dr Rohit Lamba is an experienced, fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon with core interest in joint preservation procedures and salvage of failed or infected joint replacements. He has been trained at the reputed Christian Medical College and Hospital, Ludhiana which is the premier referral centre for North India. After his Masters in Orthopaedics, he did his senior residency from Delhi Government hospitals with the largest amounts of trauma case loads, thus further polishing his skills at the same. He developed an interest in knee and shoulder arthroscopic procedures and sports injuries as well as complex joint replacements of hips and knees. He worked in the arthroplasty and arthroscopy unit at Fortis Memorial Research Institute, Gurgaon from 2013 to 2016. Thereafter, he has been working at W Pratiksha hospital, Gurgaon till date. The unit handles more than 100 joint replacement procedures of varying complexities every month and has thus given him immense experience in the field. For the past 3 years he has learned the nuances of Computer navigated hip and knee joint replacements with Stryker NAV 3 computer system, amongst the most advanced systems in the world. The pursuit of further cutting edge skills in the field of arthroplasty and arthroscopy have taken him around the world. He did his observership in Hip arthroscopy at Princess Alexandra hospital, Harlow, UK in 2017. He further honed his skills in hip preservation procedures at the University Hospital Infanta Leonor, Madrid, Spain in 2019. He has also collaborated in writing a book chapter in the book 'Hip Preservation Surgery' published by ESSKA. He has been trained at the world renowned Helios Endoklinik, which is the highest volume joint replacement centre in the world performing more than 8000 surgeries every year. He has been trained in the special technique of single stage revision of infected joint replacements. He has also undertaken a fellowship at the famous Laud clinic in Mumbai, where the joint replacements were pioneered in India. He continues to expand his skills and knowledge in order to offer his patients the very best with all humility.

I am being treated by Dr. Rohit Sir since one year now , I had 2 surgeries which was performed by him with great precision and care as I had an open fracture a year back , now I am almost fit with last few followups left with him It has been a great recovery journey so far as I have been visiting him regularly every month from past 12 months for follow ups and progress and I can say confidently that as a Doctor he is a great professional his ways of explaining medical terms and analogies to a patient is absolutely great which is based on simplicity and common examples which makes a patient understand the situation and condition very well . I had an undiagnosed shoulder pain for months. Visited few docs and even got MRI done. Nobody could tell me reason for my constant shoulder pain. Somebody referred me to Dr. Lamba and just in the very first meeting he was able to diagnose my problem and also suggested right treatment. Very professional yet humble doctor.
