A few weeks ago, I was suffering from persistent fever and initially assumed it was a viral infection due to seasonal changes. Despite taking basic medications, the fever lasted longer than usual. I visited a nearby hospital where some lab tests suggested typhoid, and I was started on antibiotic injections.
