Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh

After visiting many clinics in gurgaon and NCR, I decided to get my cataract operated by Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh, and now I am so happy that I did so. On the first visit he examined my eyes thoroughly and explained the risks involved in the surgery because I had also history of eye trauma. He told all pros and cons, and discussed everything in so lucid and friendly manner, that we decided for the surgery by him. The surgery was extremely comfortable, without even an injection. It took hardly 15 minutes, after which he patched my eyes for 2 hours. After opening the patch, my vision was already much clearer than before, which improved to absolute clear vision in 2-3 days. Even after surgery, I regularly receive the calls for follow-ups which is really very caring of them.

Dr. Ajay is an excellent eye doctor. He is very friendly, humble *** ************* person. His approach is unlike most of the corporate hospitals in Gurgaon, which act more in the interest of hospital than that of the patient. He explained the issue in such detail yet in so simple words that made me confident that I am at the right place. I have previously visited many so called big eye hospitals in Gurgaon, but this was my best experience. The reception staff and the counsellor are very humble and nice to talk to. My mother is suffering from Glaucoma. She is on medications for many years. Even then her vision is deteriorating and she was not satisfied with the medicines. I had developed cataract in both eyes after using steroid eye drops for allergy for many years, and everyone was doubtful about my eyes as they suspected that I may have glaucoma too. When I met Dr. Ajay, he discussed everything in great details. How I developed cataract, how it could have been avoided, what may be future complications. When I was fully satisfied, then I decided to undergo surgery by him. And that was the best decision I made. My vision improved from almost zero to 6/6 in less that 24 hours.
