After all, Dr. Nupur Gupta wanted to be a doctor, right from her childhood days.Her father being a doctor, she knew of the respect and recognition the profession commanded. She began her medical studies in 1990 at Jaipur and finished her post graduation in the year 2000. A decade of in-depth medical studies had laid the foundation for an illustrious career ahead.During her eight years of employment at India’s traditionally best hospital “AIIMS (All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi)”, she was exposed to the best in terms of medical care and technology. Thereafter she began her private practice and established ‘Well Woman Clinic’, at Sukhda Hospital, New Delhi and later in Gurgaon in 2010. She has also been associated with Fortis’ La Femme and Apollo Cradle, Gurgaon.

Doctor Smita attended to me from July 2017 to March 2018 personally starting from diagnosing medicating advising me to attend to regular whole day work sleeping only in left position attending to bronchitis influenza during pregnancy delivering my child while performing episiotomy without any prior knowledge though dr. smita wanted to perform c-section on me but then said i was the perfect case for normal delivery to removing blood clots from my vagina using dr.smita sanyal's fingers repeatedly during pregnancy also at the time of delivery checking how much the cervix had opened to post delivery check up as mentioned by dr.smita herself. Dr.smita then immediately decided to leave well woman clinic as dr.smita wanted to visit and stay with her son. in 2017 july dr.smita's experience years were mentioned as 33 years which has now been mentioned in practo as 42 years.

The experience was very bad. The doctor does not have a nurse. *** ******** **** i should take a pregnancy test and for it she gave an old, ugly-looking, grime-filled plastic jar to fill my urine in. It looked like a kitchen jar, one whih is ussed to put spices in, a transparent jar with blue plastic screwable lid, **** ****** ******* **** * ******** ********** After i got the urine, the doctor took few drops with a dropper and asked me to throw the rest of the urine back in the toilet, WASH THE JAR AND BRING IT BACK. At this point, it was clear that the same jar would be used by other patients after me and I was also a jar that contained someone else's urine at some point and had to wash it too. It was shocking to know that the dropper used was also used by someone earlier and my pregnancy test, does not specifically contain my inputs alone. It was a sickening feeling. After I returned the jar to her, I was surprised to know that the doctor's room contained no sanitizer or hand wash and the doctor has not washed her hands. The toilet available in the complex was a very bad one, generic to men and women, and used by multiple entities in the building, like a public toilet.
She suggested multiple tests and multiple probable ailments i might be having, *** ** ***** **** *** ***** *** **** ********** She asked me to revisit once the tests are done, but I did not go after an experience like this.
Also, the doctor had no staff, and she was the one collecting fees too. She charged me Rs.600 and gave a bill only when I asked for it, a hand written bill. The fees is not at all reasonable for the experience. It was an overall very bad experience and I would not suggest the doctor to anyone else.
