I was suffering from pain in my stomach and was diagnosed to have a large cyst. It is called as Endometroisis cyst around 12 cm in size and in my hometown I was advised that I need to undergo surgery. We tried to search an expert gynecologist who can do this surgery well and one of our family doctor suggested Dr kusum as she is trained from AIIMS DELHI.We contacted her and believe me at first visit only I decided that she would be my doctor as she dealt us so confidently and we decided to go ahead with surgery of this large cyst as I was planning to conceivealao I underwent Laparoscopic endometriotic cystectomy in Gurgaon by her and was so comfortable even on next day as it was not an open surgery.I was discharged early and got complete relief of my symptoms. I consulted Dr Kusum for post menstrual spotting. I had gotten my Ultrasound done from somewhere else and needed followup on that.

She was very patient and did an examination. Then a hysteroscopy was suggested which was to be an inpatient procedure.

I changed my mind about that 2 days later and told her that I felt it was too hurried a decision especially since it was to be done under anesthesia. She did not try and force me into the procedure. Infact she suggested an alternate option for the issue as the first step which was an endometrial biopsy. She did that and it was painless though people told me it could be slightly painful. That spoke a lot of her expert hand.

We will now discuss the next step based on the result.

It's good to meet a doctor who works with the patient based on their comfort.

When I visited Dr. Kusum, Which was a month back, I was in a horrible shape mentally and PCOD wise. My hormones and stress levels were causing a lot of uneasiness.
