I was suffering from pain in my stomach and was diagnosed to have a large cyst. It is called as Endometroisis cyst around 12 cm in size and in my hometown I was advised that I need to undergo surgery. I consulted Dr Kusum for post menstrual spotting. I had gotten my Ultrasound done from somewhere else and needed followup on that.

She was very patient and did an examination. Then a hysteroscopy was suggested which was to be an inpatient procedure.

I changed my mind about that 2 days later and told her that I felt it was too hurried a decision especially since it was to be done under anesthesia. She did not try and force me into the procedure. Infact she suggested an alternate option for the issue as the first step which was an endometrial biopsy. She did that and it was painless though people told me it could be slightly painful. That spoke a lot of her expert hand.

We will now discuss the next step based on the result.

My mother was suffering from abnormal bleeding at the age of 65 yrs and told by doctor to have an ultrasound

It was detected that her uterus linning has become thick and one sample has to be taken.My doctor advised to go for uterus removal surgery but i was afraid of it.
