I had Anxiety and Depression for long time, for over five years. I tried every type of cure (so-called) to heal them, such as religious ways, astrology, Sri Sri courses, making willpower strong, trying to being happy, but all in vain. Then I went to the real place where I would have visited much earlier i.e. a doctor specialised to treat these problems. After couple of consultations, he told me to go for psychotherapy. Then I searched on internet and found Dr. Priya's contact on Practo and booked an appointment. I must say the gradual treatment method followed by Dr. Priya has helped me a lot in coming out of these two problems to a large extent. Though I am currently undergoing treatment, I am feeling much much better now. Dr. Priya used modern approach and technique to go deep to find the root cause of my problems and after only 3 consultations, I am feeling much better. She has given me hope and new way to live my life. Psychotherapy and small dose of medicine has helped me to recover to a large extent. Medicine + change of perspective towards life and viewing situations from a different angle is what you need. But it cannot be done by so called making willpower strong. Let experts do the work. Whenever we have other ailments small or big, we consult a specialist but when we have mental illnesses, we never consult a specialist, and some people like me choose that as a last resort whereas it should be our first choice of treatment. I urge people to treat mental illness same as other illness like cough, cold, fever and go to expert doctor to treat them.

I went to visit doctor from another city during COVID times, waited in front of her clinic for an hour and then someone from her practice told me that the doctor can’t see you because she is in abroad!!!

Practo confirmed my appointment and they advised me to book premium appointments in order to avoid such issues. I am still unsure what to do.

I met Dr Priya almost 3 months back when i was going through a very tough time because of excessive anxiety related to my health, it was giving me a lot of stress and i was not enjoying life as i used to. Afyer 3 montha i have stopped taking some medicines and have a all new life thanks to Dr Priya for her advice. I would strongly recommend anyone who is suffering from stress or anxiety. Its curable, its a disease and needs to be treated the same way as we treat any other ailment like fever or viral.
