I was diagnosed with tongue cancer in 2023 and had to undergo a glossectomy followed by radiation therapy from January to March 2024. For those who do not know, radiation does not differentiate between good and bad cells, and while it helped destroy the cancer, it also caused significant damage to my tongue and surrounding areas, resulting in fibrosis, loss of mobility, and severe difficulties with speaking, chewing, and eating.

I am 68 and suffering from severe hearing loss in both ears for over two decades and suddenly in Dec. 2021 I felt like total hearing loss.
