Dentists now a days claim they are "TMJ specialists" and try their fancy equipment boasting about their skills and knowledge. I have been to this "TMJ specialist". Forget about getting my jaw pain resolved, his treatment plan along with his orthotic gave me new pains in other parts of the body. A trained and skilled dentist should be able to make small progresses throughout the line of treatment. On the other hand, I was told by his staff that the orthotic they gave previously had to be removed and they have to make another one. Which means, I'll have to spend another thousands, sit on the same fancy equipment, get another orthotic and trust the entire process once again? Moreover, this guy is scared of patients asking questions.
When I made a first visit, there were other patients suffering with TMJ issues. Infact few of them were quite honest about their feedback and I was warned to be careful while undergoing treatment from this guy. Wish I had listen!
Don't let this guy take away your bite, your patience and your peace of mind. Your bite is yours, please protect it.
