The chemotherapy unit has a total of 12 Chemo chairs/recliners and 3 patient beds. The unique ambience of the whole centre is designed with a multitude of activities e.g., books, Ipad, Tv’s etc. to distract patient from the treatment. The non-hospital environment provides you with personalized and efficient treatment, specialized cancer care with all major sub-specialties/DMGs (Disease Management Groups) and especially privacy to the patient.

I visited the doctor for Head & Neck cancer consult.
a) We were made to wait for 20 minutes because he was chit-chatting with colleagues over coffee during our appointment. It shows a lack of professionalism and empathy especially when the cancer patient is also a senior citizen.
b) Too much emphasis on his medical opinion rather than prognosis. He did not provide complete information in terms of the available line of treatment. ********** **** *********** the reasoning is often unclear as he would repeat his opinion **** * ****** ********** ****** **** ******* *** ***** *** ********** ****** ** *** **** ********* ***** ** ***** ******* *** *** ****** *** ********** ** ***** *** ****** **** ** ******** ** ***** 3.
d) Didn't ask for our consent before pushing the case to radiology. Ideally, a doctor is supposed to explain the possible options with the pros and cons and let the patient decide.
e)He failed to explain how concurrent radiation *** ***** ********* ***** **** ** boils in the mouth, affect saliva production, hair loss, skin issues, etc. In fact, he assured that CT/RT will provide a better quality of life than surgery. ********* **********

This was our first interaction with Dr. Shubham post Mastectomy.
Dr. Shubham has a very friendly demeanour and makes his patients very comfortable. His calm composure made our nervousness regarding the test results go away to a great extent. He reviewed the pathology report for us and explained all parts in details without any signs of hurry and recommended future course of action. I would say, this was one of the most calmest visits we have had to the hospitals so far, as our all questions were very well addressed.
