First of all you will get an appointment after waiting for several months and then you will be handed over to interns, who will explain your case to Dr sarin when your number will come after waiting more than 6 hours on your appointment date. And last Dr sarin who is sitting at the other corner of the room will just listen to the intern and spend less than 2 minutes and recommend further tests and you are done. To show reports/Followups again you have to wait for months and the cycle will repeat.

I was shocked when it was told that my father was having HCC and surgery need to be done .My friend Dr.Vikas who has done his DM from ILBS advised me to visit ILBS .I met Dr.Jindal and he infused confidence that all will be fine and referred me toDr. Piyush who further explained me the entire process of surgey and gave us the confidence that all will be fine. One JRS Dr.Mayur has hand hold my father and made him realise the entire team of Doctor is here and there is no need to worry.Even at home my father use to say his friends that the doctors at ILBS are really friendly .As per process I was told that before surgery they will bridge the process by doing TACE followed by PVE and finally surgery. The TACE and PVE was done by Dr.Amar who again is an angel for he has done the entire process very smoothly and has given confidence to my father every time .My father was admitted twice for 5 days each in hospital and during the stay the entire team at ILBS has given the confidence to my father and prepared him mentally and emotionally for surgery. Now surgery is planned in the end of this month and will be done by Dr. Piyush who at every moments is entending his helping hands and building confidence to my father. Thanks sir and now we are praying GOD that all gets well.At last we are thank full to Dr. SHIV sir who has built this team *** ** ** *** ** *********** ** **** *** ****** *** **** ******* **** * **** **** **** * **** *** *** ***** **** ** **** ***** *** ** **** ***** ** ******* ** *** ***** ******* ****** ****** **** **** *** **** ** ******* *** Lord Shiva has sent him to heal the pain of comman man and that is why the creator has given his name to him.My father always wants to meet u and greet u sir.Sir I am thankful to Dr. Vikas who is your student and who guided me at every step and the day I got counseling from ILBS he said now every thing will be fine and really I am thankful to him and to u again sir for designing such students .My whole family extend our wishes to u from the core of our heart.U all Doctor always have good health which my family prays to almighty. Thanks sir.

I am an overseas citizen of India and was on holidays in Delhi when I had ATT (anti tuberculosis treatment) induced Jaundice and liver damage 60-70%. Dr. Sarin and his team treated me and saved my life. Based on my condition at that point of time, although they prepared me and my family for liver transplant but they tried to revive liver with few sessions of Plasmapherisis which actually worked for me and i was not required to go for liver transplant. I will always be grateful to Dr. S.K.Sarin and Dr. Karan. They would listen your concerns and try to explain in a most friendly way to make you understand. I wish we could have them in Australia as well. I wish them very best and God bless them all.
One more thing, if you have to wait for him for a bit long, trust me its worthy.

So, while u r planing to visit at ILBS, please be prepared that it will take the entire day to wrap things and can even spill up to next day.
Over the phone, you will be told that no appointment is available from the concerned doctor in probably next 1 month, but once you reach there at the hospital, you can get an immediate appointment. So better not take an appointment prior over the phone. Just jump to hospital.
One more important information. Don’t think that since u have got an appointment now from Dr. Sarin, he will see you. No ways!! You will first be directed to a junior doctor who will further prescribe few tests and then will prescribe medication. And after all that you will then have to wait for few more hours to meet Dr. Sarin.
Seriously, you will have to have real patience for this. But after you meet him, he will ensure that you are right diagonised by the junior doctor.
