I took my father, who was having liver issues, to him and i am completely satisfied with the care and treatment extended by the doctor. In my view he is not one of those who see their patients as an objects and rush towards making mony. He took time in diagnosis, but i must say that he went into every single detail of the problem and personally studied the case of my father thoroughly *** ********** **** ****** ***************** ** ** ******* ** ** *** ** *** **** ******************* * **** **** *******
He is an amazing doctor. I suffer from a possibly fatal gastroenterological disorder and he is only one of the very few doctors who could pin point the disease without letting me go through expensive and sometime unnecessary/painful tests. He is thorough and very accurate in his diagnosis. He will tell you exactly what you need to hear. nothing more. He does NOT scare his patients, to mint money from them. I highly recommend him.
(Why you can trust me : I have been a life long patient of gastro and the sheer number of doctors i have met and consulted is something un-achievable for almost anyone reading this review. so i know what i am saying.)

*** ****** ** *************** doesn’t explain reasonably, asks for hospital admission **************
I went with my dad and kept waiting in front of him when he was explaining something to his friend for about 15 -20 mins. without considering that a patient has been waiting for him from long time in queue, and when he finished only thing he told us is admit the patient for investigations which he didn’t do on same day. All together we paid for a day of admission without any progress and tests completed on the day.

His way of examination was good but did not explain everything very well. He suggested all the possible things, which was nice, but his waiting time was more than 3-4 hours, which I faced in every appointment. He should value the time of patients.

I do not recommend this doctor mainly because :
01. Seems to find his mobile phone more important than the patient, throughout the consultation.
02. Chastised the patient for asking a question. Used a dismissive tone throughout.
03. Spent 3 minutes for a post-op post-ER post-ICU consultation & the end result was a prescription with same medication that the patient was already on.
04. Was not wearing a mask and coughed without covering their face in the presence of patient & attendant. Patient & attendant were both wearing masks. I was the attendant.
During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, we took great risk to schedule an appointment with this doctor because the aged patient's condition was not improving. Despite such circumstances, we found the doctor to be dismissive and we are actively seeking consulting someone else.

Bad experience.. Doctor was chatting on phone while attending to us and he was 90 min late and he attended to his relatives / knowns out of turn and spent good 60 min with them.. for us and patients like us, he didn't spend even 5 min.. no patient counselling / discussion or etc.. typical Medanta style..we paid lot for services...he is giving appointment with gap of 5 min.. you can understand well what he will talk to patient in 5 min..

I visited the doctor along with my father who is 70+. The whole experience was very unprofessional.
During our consultation, he took personal calls in between and then got irritated when we asked follow up questions. He was extremely rude and I left dissatisfied as a customer who paid Rs 1500 for consultation but did not get even 5 mins of focussed time from the doctor. Would not recommend.
True to Medanta culture though.
