I visited Dr sarkar last year around july 2021 for anxiety disorder treatment,he listened to all my problems, my childhood and he suggested me that i should go for a psychological assessment with a psychologist who is available in their clinic itself so i went for that assessment with Dr jagriti tandon she assessed me by asking various questions listening to my past conducted various psychological tests and she told me she will give the assessment report in few days , So after few days i got my assessment report and according to it i was suffering from severe depressive disorder because of my traumatic past so she suggested me i should go for counselling sessions along with medicines , So my treatment started after that Dr sarkar never gave me to much of medicines and he told me to be patient it will work in sometime so initially 2-3 months i didn’t feel any change but doctor sarkar kept motivating me that eventually it will work then after some time i started to see small small changes in me like in social situations my anxiety kept reducing , depression went down and slowly my confidence starts to increase and along with medicines and counselling i have been doing mindfulness meditation also so combination of all 3 helped me in great deal. Now its been close to 10 months since am taking medicine’s i can say that almost 80 % my anxiety has been reduced still some left which am sure will be gone in few months it feels like Dr sarkar has given me a new life may god bless him always.

I recently sought treatment for generalised anxiety from Dr. Manish Sarkar, a psychiatrist. Unfortunately, my experience with him has left me feeling profoundly disappointed and dissatisfied with the level of care and support I received.
Upon my initial consultation, Dr. Sarkar prescribed a short-acting benzodiazepine (Tofisopam) to help manage my anxiety. However, one of the major issues I encountered was the lack of comprehensive information and guidance regarding the medication's ********* ******* *** *** ********* *** ****** ********. While I eventually decided to taper off the benzodiazepine, I must emphasise that this decision was made based on my own research and not due to any recommendations or support from Dr. Sarkar.
During the tapering process, I experienced an onslaught of debilitating symptoms that I was entirely unprepared for. These symptoms included heightened anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, uncontrollable shaking, muscle spasms, an overwhelming sense of despair, GI symptoms, chest pain, aphasia, and a host of other symptoms.
It is disheartening that Dr. Sarkar, as a psychiatrist, did not take the initiative to proactively educate me about the potential risks and challenges associated with benzodiazepine usage. *** ************** ** * ******* ************ ** ** ****** **** ******** **** ****** ** *** ********* *********** ** **** ******** ********* ***** ***** **********
I am still going through the withdrawal process, *** * **** *** ** *** ******** ** **** **** ***** no thanks to Dr. Sarkar.

He is one of the most unsatisfactory psychiatric i have went to. The faculty is unbearable to deal with. The doctor doesn’t even listen to you properly and will just assign the medication. **** ***** **** *** ** **** **** ******** **** ****** ****** ********* *** ************ ** ** ********* ** * ****** She literally has one job, to deal with the patients and manage their appointments accordingly and she can’t even do that properly. *** ****** *** ***** *** *** ********** **** ***** ** **** * ******* *********. The faculty is super non-considerate. The service is really poor. You have to wait for so long for an appointment and the waiting time is too much, like minimum 40 minutes. I am just addicted to taking medicines now and he claims to be a de-addiction therapist. He gives his phone to his moronic receptionist to answer your simple queries. He gives her the authority of replying to his patients *** ******* **** **** * ***** I’d never suggest a person dealing with mental health issues to consult dr. sarkar. ****** *** *** ** **** **** ******* Take care of yourself fam. That’s all from my side.

I came to Dr. Sarkar as a shell of myself, having suffered from anxiety and panic attacks for around a year. I hoped that he would be able to help me cope with my situation, but I had no idea that his intervention would be so effective. He listened to me very attentively and allayed all my fears and assured me that I will get better with time. The medicines that he prescribed were immensely useful and I did not suffer any more panic attacks after I started taking them. Six months after coming to him, I can say that I'm back to my old self and have regained my confidence to lead a normal life. Anyone suffering from mental health issues will benefit from consulting Dr. Sarkar.
