Dr. Shweta Jain done my Lasik surgery on 21st Oct 2022 at 'Eye Mantra hospital' Paschim Vihar, New Delhi.

My overall Experience

Before my "Contoura Vision Lasik Surgery" , Dr, Shweta Jain tell me about that there will 15-20 Minutes of surgery and your vision will be got normal after 2 days to 1 week and there will be no such long lasting risk involve for having a Surgery and I have to be on Regular Eye drops for 1 Month for nourishing the eye after surgery.

I put Eye drops and lubricants along with Vitamin “C” Capsules and Omega 3 on regular basis for 1 month after 1 month after surgery I visit to her on 20th Nov 2022 (Eye mantra Hospital Paschim Vihar, New Delhi) She checked me and say there is dryness in my Eyes I have to put Eye Drops (6-8 Times a Day) and Eye lubricants (3-4 Times a day) , which I have to put and sit with closed eye at least 20 Minutes as the Lubricant does not dissolve and the vision stay Blurry which result in I was unable to work at office with Efficiency (in short I cannot use my eyes for working at least 20-30 Minutes) for maximum of 3-4 Months more.

As not getting improvement I visit to AIIMS , and the doctor of AIIMS clearly told me that Th dryness is a part of Lasik Surgery for lifetime means I have to put Eye drops for Whole life Which Dr. Shweta Jain does not clarify me before surgery.

After Visiting to AIIMS I again visit to Dr. Shweta Jain on 29.06.2023 and she give me Eye drops , Lubricants and Vitamin C Capsules and told me that it will get okay or may be last for long.

I am Sharing all this for those who are thinking of having Lasik surgery to remove their spectacles that you must be ready to put Eye drops and lubricants for whole of the life. As DRYNESS in eye is the long-lasting thing you have to deal with for long time and it is very annoying.

As everyone is working and it is hard to put and sit for a long time for a lifelong period.

An eyelash went into my eye and got stuck in the upper eyelid.

The doctor had his office assistant take the eyelash out using a tweezer and the assistant caused a wound in my eye while doing so...
