Dr. Shilpi Sachdev Clinic, Pitampura

Guys, our story started when we went to Dr. Shilpi Sachdev for 2nd opinion of IUGR case and my wife had gestational diabetes as well. Post checking all the reports and scans Dr. Shilpi advised to get a USG Doppler done and personally requested the Fetal Imaging team to give us slot for the very same day as we're already late and initially team denied to give us same day slot which was quite obvious as patients are supposed to take appointments for all the scans in advance. She had some doubts which she clarified with latest scan which was done at Apollo Cradle only and she advised to get the delivery done same day only as our baby's life was in danger and it was a high risk pregnancy case which we were not aware of at all until we got the scan done. Story doesn't end here as the most critical part came afterwards as the delivery was supposed to be done same day but we were not booked with Apollo Cradle already as it was our first visit and secondly we did not get the COVID test done for my wife as we were not aware of this situation. The management at Apollo Cradle initially denied to take our case basis above highlighted reasons but she spoke to the management on our behalf and requested them to save the baby's life and got all the formalities done ASAP. Luckily the COVID antigen test came Negative for my wife and she was admitted there for the delivery.

Guys, I have lots of great things to mention about her when I recall that day but in the end, I would like to say, she is a gem of a person and kind hearted Dr. who saved both Mother and Baby that day. We are really thankful to God and Dr. Shilpi for this kindness and putting all her efforts to handle our High Risk Pregnancy case with utmost care and humanity!!

We are truly grateful to *Dr.Shilpi Sachdev* for her guidance throughout my second pregnancy and gifting my nine years old daughter ,a brother.... She has always answered all our concerns patiently during our appointments.

Her calmness and determination helped us deliver our baby healthy and safe and that too *Normal delivery*. Even when I was contracted with Covid during the second wave of pandemic,she always has been available during our critical period and acted with urgency when it was needed.

My baby got delivered with the help of Dr Shilpi Sachdeva and it was a normal delivery and for that we are very grateful to Doctor Shilpi Sachdev. We highly admire and appreciate the Doctor Shilpi's work and support to us.

My wife initially had some pregnancy issues and we visited few other Doctors before visiting her. Here we got the complete support we required.

Doctor Shilpi has always made us feel comfortable, the consultation queries were all handled very patiently and and in a very friendly manner with a smile on her face.

Later my wife was diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and Doctor Shilpi really pushed us to manage our diet very carefully with proper medications. We could have taken it a bit lightly which we guess that she knew already and didn't gave us any scope to do so with proper consultation, making us understand the risks clearly. We are very grateful that we crossed the path under her guidance.

All our queries asked over phone were answered and all the messages were timely replied. And for that also we are very thankful to her.

There was an incident when there was water logging at many places in Delhi because of rain and we had the consultation booked on that day, Doctor called us specially to update us the water logging situation around the clinic so we know it before coming.

One thing that I would appreciate her most is that she supported us in our decision to go with normal delivery.

Doctor Shilpi is the most genuine Doctor with a very practical approach and a genuine smile we came across in our medical journey and we really thank her for all the support she had provided us.

At last I would like to say is that no word or Thankyou actually justifies the duty Doctor plays for us.

Consulted Dr Shilpi Sachdev at Apollo Cradle as soon as I tested positive for pregnancy in November. She connected with me and my husband really well and guided us in an appropriate manner. We were confident to share our pregnancy journey with her right after the first consultation. Our comfort level with her was phenomenal.

Being first-time pregnant, we had many doubts and questions, all of which she patiently resolved. Because of her friendly attitude, I never had any hesitation in reaching out to her even with the silliest questions. She was always available on text, which was really comforting.

She always motivated us for normal delivery, even though our baby had two loops of nuchal cord. But during labour, my husband and I decided to go for C-section. It may sound weird, but I enjoyed the procedure of C-section and was interacting with her throughout the procedure. My recovery was also swift and I was entirely on my own within 48 hours- with no help for walking and using restroom. Today is 7th day and I have already climbed three flight of stairs twice (slowly), with no complaints. My friends and family members who had delivered via C-section are pleasantly surprised to see my recovery rate vis-a-vis their own .

The upshot is that Dr Shilpi knows her job really well and goes an extra mile to comfort the anxious to-be parents. We shall always be grateful to her for making our pregnancy to delivery journey smooth and enjoyable.

PS- We chose Apollo Cradle solely because of Dr Shilpi.

Firstly would like to thank Dr.Shilpi for all the support she has provided us for the past 9 months which were quite a ride for us.

So my wife had conceived in March and was vomiting everything she ate during the first phase of lockdown and every doctor who we came to know about refused to give is consultation as they were not taking new cases and then we were introduced to Dr. Shilpi who on the other hand immediately gave us some really effective tips while the time of booking an appointment and from then she supervised my wife's pregnancy like a parent and managed everything from her diet to her weight and the baby's healthy growth and also made sure that my wife would be ready for a natural delivery and not only did the prepare her well, she executed it with all her heart using all the tips and tricks which only could be done by a doctor of her knowledge and skill.

When I met dr shilpi 1st time I discussed about my previous pregnancy though it was a normal delivery but my experience wasn’t great. I visited Dr Shilpi for my pregnancy and delivery at Apolo Cradle. In the very first visit I found her to be very grounded and responsible. She understood my history very carefully and prescribed medicines accordingly. She has been very friendly and approachable throughout, always available on phone and watsapp. Her intent is very clear to keep the patient healthy- she was strict if I was not taking medicines properly. Thanks to her I had a very smooth pregnancy and child birth. I had c section delivery with absolutely no concerns. She was constantly available for post surgery recovery and advised medicines appropriately. stitches have healed perfectly. I would definitely go back to Dr Shilpi for all my gynaec related concerns and would also recommend her to my friends and family.
