Hi Doctors,
My wife is 16 weeks pregnant and the doctor has suggested to have one tablet of zental
Albendazole 400 mg. By chewing. Is this tablet is safe to consume.

Hello, This tablet Zental I.e. albendazole is for deworming during pregnancy. Single dose of 400 mg is sufficient and safe as per government guidelines. It is usually adviced after 12 weeks meaning in 2 or 3rd trimester.
So if she is not allergic to this medicine , she can consume this
