Yellow discoloration from plaque buildup can be reduced by regular brushing and professional dental cleaning. Many teeth whitening treatments can cause temporary teeth sensitivity, which can become worse when you already have sensitive teeth. Professional teeth whitening done by a dentist might be the best and safe option for those with sensitive teeth. At-home teeth whitening options are one of the most cost-effective ways. However, many of these options can easily irritate sensitive teeth and gums, especially when not used as directed.
Next Steps
Visit the dentist and ask about teeth whitening options for sensitive teeth.
Health Tips
Brush or rinse immediately after you eat staining foods like coffee, tea. Avoid foods that may stain the teeth.

Hi, For sensitive teeth you can try using a desensitising tootpaste like thermoseal ,sensodyne e.t.c.Please follow the brushing instructions given and over time your sensitivity will reduce.Shift over to a soft bristled brush to reduce excessive wear of enamel.
Next Steps
Once your sensitivity is under control you can go for bleaching to whiten your teeth. This can be done at a dentist or also at home. It is preferred to get the initial bleaching /whitening at the dentist and you can augment it with a home whitening based on the dentist"srecommendation. Please be aware whitening is not a permanent procedure and the teeth gradually revert back to their original color.
