Xanthelasma
I am 25 , three years ago I have xanthelasma below my both eyes this is due to high triglyceride level and cholesterol. now my cholesterol level and triglyceride are normal. I want to know whether excision result in scarring. what is chance of reoccurring of xanthelasma.my xanthelasma size is small.

Thanks for the query. Laser removal is a good option and is relatively painless. You must understand it requires multiple sessions, may be 2 or more to achieve a desired result. Each session can be performed at gap of 1-2 months depending on rate of clearance. Other options like RF and surgical excision also are possible .
