Sir it is necessary to take x-ray dorsal spine lateral and AP view both.
Can I just take a AP view just for my confirmation if there will be a scoliosis I will consult a doctor

Both are important... Asnsome time scololiosis may coexist with kyphosis.. (Kyphoscoliosis).
Better to go for both the views for complete opinion.
