Wrong dose vit. d ultra d3 and Vit. AtoZ
Hi Doctor, My baby is 2 months old. I have been giving him just 1 drop of vitamin d and vitamin AtoZ. Doctor had suggested to give 1ml for 1 year. Somehow I misunderstood as 1 drop which is like 0.1 ml. Now I have realized it is 1ml. So it has been 2 months he is getting less Vitamin d and vitamin Atoz dosages. He is on breastmilk though. Will it hamper his growth, even if I start from now giving him the correct dose? How can I rectify this? Please suggest as I am worried about my baby's health. Thanks, Ajit

Follow the doctor's advice and give the baby corrected dose from now on. Do not worry about the less doses given till now. Since the baby is exclusively breast fed ,his growth is unlikely to be hampered. Continue exclusive breast feeding till 6 months of age

If baby on exclusive breastfeeding it will supplement all needs of baby except less vit D that's why we suggest vitD. If baby born after completion of 9 months(term) baby no problem even if less supplements, but in case of preterm babies it is essential to give supplements. So don't worry and from now onwards follow doctors suggestions.
Next Steps
give exclusive breastfeeding upto 6 months age
