I have 12days old daughter ( breastfeeding) I have wound on my nipple which hurt a lot while breastfeeding her I have applied anticaptic cream as well as milk on it but it still uncured plz tell me way to cure it.

Try nipcare ointment or Zytee gel for pain relief...wash it away before you start to feed..apply the thick hind milk... Do not wash the nipples with soap often as it will take the moisture away.. Make sure your baby is latching properly and the whole areola is inside his/her mouth and not just the nipple... You will feel better after one or two weeks once your nipple gets adjusted to the sensation..

Health Tips

If the crack gets severe , consult your gynaecologist and get advice regarding using a nipple shield if needed, temporarily.
