Wound inside the nostril.

Asked for Male, 37 Years

I have a small wound at the bottom of my left nostril (just at the beginning). I am wondering if it is safe to apply a commercially available skin ointment like Himalaya Skin Cream to heal the wound. If not, I request you to please prescribe an ointment for me which is safe to apply inside the nose.
