Worried about report
Hi Dr, My wife is 12 week pregant through IVF. We need her regular blood test. Sharing report here. WBC is high. Report also has blood smear I am worried if any cancer issue? Does WBC increase in first trimester Please suggest

I understand your concern, this situation is very common in early pregnancy, and most of the time it is NOT related to cancer. Yes ,absolutely WBC increase in first trimester due to hormonal changes and due to medication and immune response.
