Wish to Quit Smoking

I'm a smoker for past 10 years, started at the age of 17. I wish to stop smoking but I'm not able to achieve it. I feel so blank and agitated if I dont get my morning ciggratte. How can I overcome this?

Hello,
Smoking is one of the most difficult addictions to get out of.
Sometimes, just motivation is not enough . You might need the help of medications to reduce the craving and handle withdrawal symptoms.
Nicotine replacement in the form of gums and patches and medicines to reduce craving are available. contact a psychiatrist for help.

I suggest you first identity the factors which prompt you into using cigarettes. Examine them & form alternative helpstrategies to deal with those factors before you
