Wisdom tooth surgery and anemia
My hemoglobin level is 6...and I have impacted wisdom tooth which is too much painful and I have to immediate extract this surgically so, in this low hb level surgery possible or not??

This is not safe surgical procedure in case low haemoglobin level...use pain killer and go to dental clinic and curattage should be done in that area.....for some time pain will be subside .....consult general physician regarding low haemoglobin level...

as with your current levels of Haemoglobin you will not be advised for the surgical procedure you can discuss alternate pain reduction methods. do you have any OPG or Xray?

Hello It might not be possible to perform the surgery with such low, hemoglobin levels Please consult the general physician and try to increase iron intake The tooth can be extracted once the levels are normal

As per your Hb level, you are severely anemic. Surgical procedures are avoided in such case. Use pain killers for the pain in the mean time and get your HB level up. If still there is pain and extraction is the only solution, consult your physician for alternative ways that can be undertaken in  extreme situations.
