Wisdom tooth extraction post op pain
In how many days should the post extraction pain start reducing. It is going to be 72 hours for me tomorrow at 12:30PM and i still have to take painkillers. The pain is not very bad but it is there while eating, talking, opening mouth etc. I have a stitch as well. Please guide.

Try to maintain good oral hygiene by brushing twice a day, use mouthwash, warm saline water rinses two to three times a day.
Take painkiller.
Apply ice pack outside of mouth on effected area.

It may take a week to ten days but gradually it reduces. Do warm saline gargles for better healing and keep that area clean.

Hello,
Don't worry, keep on taking the medication as prescribed.. The pain or discomfort will go in few days as impaction is a surgical procedure it is normal to feel it.. Do warm saline rinse 3 to 4 times a day..
