Before going for the procedure, your dentist must have asked you to undergo certain blood investigations. Take proper meals and medications prescribed at least an hour prior to surgery, as after the surgery rest in the operated site is required. After surgery, take cold and soft diet for the next 24 hours. Avoid chewing from the surgery side for a week. Avoid brushing in that area if stitches are placed. Use mouthwash at least twice a day after brushing. Take medications prescribed by your doctor.
