Wisdom tooth extracted
A hour ago doctor had removed my wisdom teeth upper one and their are no stitches . Doctor have given some antibiotics and painkiller . But I forget to ask what to do for 1 st 24hrs . And any tips and precautions for recovery plz anser doctor

A) Don't spit any thing, remove cotton after one hour.
B) Don't eat anything from that side. You can have ice cream or anything cold like milk in glass. Don't use straw.
C) Take guided medicines.
D) If you see any swelling on face, then you can apply ice pack from outside your mouth over effected area.
E) After 24 Hours, warm saline water rinses two to three times a day, use mouthwash.

The instructions for the first 24 hours are as below
1. Take something cold like an ice cream (only cup ones) or any cold juice only in glass not with straw.
2. Do not take anything hot today whether its tea, coffee, food everything has to be brought to room temperature and then consumed.
3. Do not spit,rinse, gargle or do brushing tonight.
4. Do not smoke or take anything from straw today.
5. Take medications as advised
6. From tomorrow that is after 24hrs you can eat whatever you want ( only foods comfortable to you) and from tomorrow do warm saline rinses 2-3 times a day (only after 24hrs)

Hello,
1- Avoid any kind of warm foods for 24hrs
2- apply ice pack or have icecream
3- Don’t spit frequently,swallow your saliva,don’t sleep on that side,don’t talk much!
4- Take prescribed medicines
5- Have soft food for 3days
6- After 24hrs of extraction,gargle it with warm saline water
7- Medicines will help you and go to your dentists for follow-up checkup after 5days

Please be calm
See after 1 hour you can have any cold thing like icecream and juice to promote vasoconstriction.avoid eating tea and hot food from that side.do warm saline rinses 6 hourly a day for 5 days.for any doubt you can consult me
