Wisdom tooth decay
Hi Doc, I am having ache on my bottom right side wisdom tooth. My question is, pain always happen in night. What is the reason of that. I don't feel anything throughout the day. But pain starts in night. Please explain me the reason and suggest me how to get relief from the same. Thanks Much, Prashant

Firstly start brushing at night to reduce your pain.. keep the area as clean as you can. The wisdom tooth will have to be removed if it has started giving so much pain. Visit your dentist

Hi...As you rightly pointed out that pain is only during night...is a classical sign of tooth infection. The tooth may be decayed and involving the pulp... and the tooth is infected giving you pain in the night. Usually wisdom teeth are extracted.
