Wife Violent and physical attacks
Hi Doctor My wife is having abusive behavior, even in front of child she misbehaves like loud shouting, bad slangs,more over physical attacks for hours together, multiple times in a week. So these Violent and physical attacks would definitely effects every one along around but more specifically 6 yr kid. She do not come for any sort of councilling in house or online or f2f attempted and requested several times. Kindly pls suggest help. All practical and  possible ways. Much appreciate it.

Where do you live ? If you live in Chennai I can help u by arranging home visit . other places search home visit option as some hospital do home visit . u need to take consultation with psychiatrist to know the available option  to protect your child,  then professionals can see your wife later, child will learn this behavior and it will affect the child psycholgicaly, so you need get help early. Hi Thanks for seeking help here. After carefully listening to your history n evaluating the issue we suggests.... She may have personality issues...or poor anger mgt. sometimes people have mood swings n violent behaviour as sign of bipolar. with treatment she will improve so do ur life. She may not feel she needs treatment, that's quite common. What i suggest....We can talk to her over phone n start a genuine treatment ..soon she may feel fine. MHCA ( Mental Health Care Act) has a provision for involuntary patient treatment in certain circumstances. Making her talk to someone whom she respects or has a rapport with might help in making up her mind to seek help
