Wife had an abortion

My wife had a medically supervised abortion six days ago and initially experienced heavy bleeding (now reduced), clotting, and severe cramps, which have since eased. While she’s recovering and resuming daily activities, she’s struggling with intense sexual arousal and insists on engaging in activity despite my concerns about risks like infection or complications. We’d like to know: Is it safe for her to resume intimacy this soon after the abortion, given her current symptoms?
