White tissue at end of jaw inside mouth

Hi i have a white colour tissue layer at the end of my jaw on the cheek, 2 days back i had tooth ache so i put clove oil now it seems like there is a tissue damage it is a white layer of tissue half of which seems to have peeled ... i am concerned as it is hurting when i open my mouth
