I am having white spots or patches on my tonsil with throat pain. I have a history of tonsil stones and pharyngitis, but these aren't stones. What could it possibly be?

If you aren’t having fever this is most likely to be tonsillolith. This is debris that accumulates in the pits of the tonsils. It is not harmful. Gargles after eating will help in prevention of formation.
